Rare Christmas Sighting...

Let it be known that last night I saw a BLACK MIDGET SANTA CLAUS ringing the Salvation Army bells outside of Wal-Mart. I wanted to take a picture, but I couldn't figure out a way to do it without being rude.

Okay, I've spent two weeks trying to recruit celebrity bell ringers to participate in Bells Ringing Across America and ring the bell in front of Wal-Mart stores in my markets (which include Birmingham) for the event Nov. 27. My first thought: WHERE WAS THING GUY LAST WEEK?!! People would SO come out to see him more than any boring local news anchor or professional athlete!
